Creating a Background Slideshow in JupiterX

Adding a background slideshow to a section or container in your JupiterX website can create an engaging and dynamic look. Follow these steps to set up a beautiful background slideshow:

How to Enable a Background Slideshow:

  1. Navigate to the page where you want to add the background slideshow with Elementor Page Builder.
  2. Click on the Section or Container to which you want to add the slideshow. You will see a blue border around the selected element.
  3. Go to the Style tab in the Elementor panel on the left side of your screen.
  4. Under the Background subsection, look for Background Type and click on the Background Slideshow  icon. It typically looks like a collection of small rectangles or a play symbol.

  1. Click the Add Images button to open the WordPress Media Library. Here, you can select multiple images for your slideshow. Once you have selected your images, click the Create a New Gallery button, followed by the Insert Gallery button.

Configuring Your Background Slideshow:

  • Infinite Loop: Toggle this to YES if you want your slides to rotate without end.
  • Slide Duration: Enter the time (in milliseconds) you wish to have each slide displayed before transitioning to the next one.
  • Slide Transition: Select the transition effect from options such as FadeSlide RightSlide LeftSlide Down, or Slide Up.
  • Transition Duration: Set the duration of the transition between slides in milliseconds. This controls how fast or slow the slides change.
  • Background Size: Decide how your background images will fit into the section. Options include DefaultAutoCover, or Contain.
  • Background Position: Choose where you want to focus within the image, like Top Left or Center Center.
  • Ken Burns Effect: Enable this for a captivating zooming effect on your background images. Toggle to YES to activate.
  • Direction: If the Ken Burns Effect is enabled, determine whether the image will zoom In or Out.

Tips for a Great Slideshow:

  • Ensure your images are optimized for web use to improve page loading times.
  • Use images with similar dimensions and aspect ratios for consistency.
  • Review each slide transition on the front end to ensure the desired effect is achieved.

Finalizing and Previewing:

After you have made these settings, click the Update button to save your changes. Always preview your page to make sure the background slideshow looks exactly as you planned. If needed, go back and adjust the settings until you get the perfect result.

By following these steps, you can create an attractive and immersive background slideshow that enhances the visual appeal of your JupiterX website.
