How to Add Sliders in JupiterX

Adding sliders to your website can significantly improve visual appeal and user engagement. In JupiterX, we offer two options to create sliders:

  • Bundled Slider Plugins
  • JupiterX Native Slider Widgets

Understanding the Difference

Slider Plugins are external plugins that come with JupiterX. They are versatile and offer in-depth customization options. You can use them on standard WordPress pages or incorporate them as widgets in Elementor. We include three premium slider plugins in JupiterX:

  • Layer Slider
  • Slider Revolution
  • Master Slider

Slider Widgets, on the other hand, are specifically designed for Elementor. They are straightforward and user-friendly but offer fewer customization settings compared to the slider plugins.

Activating Slider Plugins in JupiterX

To activate a slider plugin:

  1. Log in to your Artbees Portal and navigate to the 'Downloads' section. Locate the slider plugin you wish to use and download the latest version.
  2. Go to your WordPress dashboard > Plugins.
  3. Click on 'Add New Plugin' and upload the downloaded zip package.
  4. Install and activate the plugin.
  5. After the page reloads, you will see the slider plugin's settings in the WordPress left menu.
  6. Go ahead and create your slider, remembering to name it.

Adding a Slider to Elementor

When your slider is ready to be added to an Elementor page:

  1. Open a new page or edit an existing one.
  2. Click on 'Edit with Elementor'.
  3. Use the left-side dashboard to search for 'Slider’ and locate the widget for the slider plugin you used.
  4. Drag and drop the appropriate slider widget onto your layout.
  5. A settings panel will open where you can select and customize your slider.

Note: You can also embed a slider using the 'Shortcode' widget in Elementor.
