How To Install JupiterX on Your WordPress Site

Welcome to the JupiterX family! We’re excited for you to start building your site with our versatile WordPress theme. To help you kick things off, this article will guide you through installing JupiterX via WordPress. Alternatively, installation via FTP is also an option, but today we focus on the WordPress method. Before we get started, remember to download JupiterX from your ThemeForest account.

Downloading The Installation Files From ThemeForest

To begin, you'll need to download the necessary installation files from ThemeForest. You have two download options:

• All Files & Documentation: This package includes the Child Theme ZIP, bundled plugins, and the Jupiter Legacy package.
• Installable WordPress File Only: This package contains the files needed for a WordPress upload, without extra files.

Where To Locate The Download Files

1. Sign in to your ThemeForest account and head over to the 'Downloads' section.
2. Find JupiterX in your list of purchases.
3. Click the 'Download' button and select 'Installable WordPress file only'.

The Installation Process

With your files in hand, it’s time to upload JupiterX to your WordPress website:

Step 1: Go to Themes Section

From your WordPress Dashboard, navigate to Appearance > Themes.

Step 2: Add and Upload Theme

Click the 'Add New' button, then choose 'Upload Theme'.

Step 3: Select the Downloaded File

Click 'Choose File' to locate the JupiterX theme files you've downloaded.

• If you have the Installable WordPress File, upload it directly without unzipping.
• For the Full Theme Package, unzip the master ZIP to find the secondary 'jupiterx-vx.x.zip' file within jupiterx folder and select this for installation.

Step 4: Activate the Theme

After the file finishes uploading, click on the 'Activate' link that appears.

Install Required Plugins

Once you activate JupiterX, you'll see a notice in your WordPress Dashboard prompting you to activate required plugins, such as JupiterX Core and Elementor. Hit 'Install & Activate Required Plugins' to get started. This will redirect you to the JupiterX Dashboard.

Register Your JupiterX Purchase

Here, you’ll be prompted to register your copy of JupiterX with your purchase code. You also have the option to begin the JupiterX Setup Wizard, which will assist you with a step-by-step setup process for your site.
