Working with General Settings in Jupiter X

This guide provides detailed explanations of the settings available in the Jupiter X WordPress theme, allowing you to customize various aspects of your website to enhance performance, functionality, and user experience.

To view general settings, go to your WordPress dashboard, then from the left sidebar choose settings from Jupiter X menu.

Some of the below options might be hidden if the simplicity mode is not turned on.

Allows you to recreate styles, JavaScript, and image files associated with Elementor and other saved files in the uploads folder. This feature is essential when changes are made to theme settings or customizations, ensuring that the latest settings are applied across your site.

Simplicity Mode offers a streamlined website-building experience by removing complex customizer settings, excessive meta options, and unnecessary CSS and JS code. This mode helps declutter your workspace, making it easier to work efficiently with Elementor and the Layout Builder. Learn more

Development Mode is designed for use while your website is in development. This mode enables specific settings that assist in the development process. It is recommended to enable this option during development and disable it once your website goes live.

Cache Busting helps to clear cached versions of files, ensuring that the most recent versions are loaded. This technique can improve website performance and is particularly useful after making changes to your website's assets.

SVG Support allows you to upload SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) files to the WordPress Media Library.

Google IP Anonymization anonymizes the IP addresses of visitors for Google Analytics. This setting is particularly useful for complying with privacy regulations.

Smooth Scroll enables automatic smooth scrolling for anchor links, enhancing the user experience when navigating through sections of a page. You can turn this feature on or off using the toggle switch.

Jupiter X loads Google and Adobe fonts using JavaScript (Web Font Loader) by default. If you encounter issues with this method, you can select the CSS option from the dropdown menu to load fonts via CSS instead.

Enter your Google Analytics ID in the provided field to integrate Google Analytics with your website. This ID is necessary for tracking and analyzing your website traffic.

Enter your Adobe Fonts Project ID in the designated field to use Adobe Fonts on your website. This integration allows you to leverage Adobe's extensive font library for your site’s typography.

After configuring the settings, click the "Save settings" button at the bottom of the page to apply and save your changes.
