Updating Jet Plugins (Crocoblock) for Jupiter X

This article is an important update concerning the legacy bundled plugins from Crocoblock that came with your Jupiter X WordPress Theme. If your website was built using these plugins, it's crucial to be aware of this update.

With the release of Jupiter X v3 and v4, we made a significant change: the legacy plugins are no longer included in the core parts of the theme. This decision affects sites created with older versions of Jupiter X. Previously, we managed auto-updates for these third-party plugins via our API for WordPress native updater functionality. However, due to changes by Crocoblock, auto-updates now necessitate a direct licensed purchase from Crocoblock.

We understand the importance of keeping your site up to date and are here to guide you through manually updating your plugins.

Updating through JupiterX > Updates

To update your Jet plugins through the theme:

  1. Click on JupiterX from your WordPress dashboard sidebar.
  2. Hover over the Maintenance menu and then click on Updates.
  3. Follow the prompts to update your Jet plugins as needed.

To manually obtain and update the plugin, follow these steps:

How to Download the Latest Plugin Versions:

  1. Log in to your account at my.artbees.net.
  2. Navigate to the Downloads page.
  3. In the Jupiter X download section, look for "Download Legacy Plugins" and click on it. You'll then have access to the legacy plugins available for download.

How to Update the Plugins on Your Site:

  1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New.
  2. Click on Upload Plugin to upload the zip packages you've downloaded.
  3. After uploading, select the option to "Replace current with uploaded".
  4. Once the upload is complete, your plugins are updated.
