Crafting Unique Single Page Templates in JupiterX

A single page template in JupiterX lays the foundation for the design of your website's individual pages. It's not just a way to stylize a single page; it's a strategy to ensure consistency across your website. With JupiterX, single page templates, or "site parts," give you the flexibility to apply a uniform design or create distinct templates for different sections of your site.

Creating and Modifying Single Templates

Single templates cater to various content types - pages, blog posts, portfolio entries, or any custom post type. By defining display conditions in the Layout Builder, you instruct JupiterX which template to apply under specific circumstances. Remember, these templates are about dynamic design, not static content.

Starting with Single Site Parts

To access your single page templates:

  1. Visit JupiterX > Layout Builder > Single from the WordPress Admin.
  2. If no templates exist yet, click Add New to create your foundational page design.
  3. For existing templates, manage them with ease – edit to redesign or tweak conditions, export to share or deploy elsewhere, or delete if no longer needed.

Editing the Design

When you're ready to put your creative touch on a template:

  1. Select the Single label in the sidebar to access the template's dashboard.
  2. Hit the Edit link to launch into Elementor and reshape your page's look.

Adjusting Display Conditions

Fine-tune where and when your templates spring into action:

  1. Click Edit Conditions to enter the Display Conditions editor.
  2. Here, you can specify the circumstances under which the template is active or not.

Note: Green and gray dots conveniently showcase which templates are live and which are in draft mode, respectively. The "Display In" label reveals their current application across the site.

Exporting a Template

For backup or cross-site use:

  1. Tap the three horizontal dots on a template.
  2. Select Export and save the .json file that encapsulates your design.

Deleting a Template

If a template has served its purpose:

  1. Again, click the three horizontal dots.
  2. Choose Delete and confirm your intent in the prompt.

Renaming for Clarity

For better organization or clarity:

  1. Click the three-dot icon and select Rename.
  2. Input the new name and confirm.

Troubleshooting Tips

If your single page template isn't behaving as expected:

  1. Cache conflicts: Clear server and plugin caches, especially if third-party caching is involved.
  2. Condition clashes: Reassess your conditions to avoid conflicts with other templates. Consider using exclusion rules when necessary.
  3. Condition misapplications: Review the conditions to ensure they're suitable for your use case.
  4. Plugin conflicts or bugs: If issues persist, it may be due to external conflicts or a bug within JupiterX. If this is the case, don't hesitate to reach out to Artbees support for assistance.
